I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in the State of Arizona. As a therapist, my hope is to create a safe and comfortable space for you to explore the parts of life that may feel too scary or unknown to look into without a little bit of extra support. My belief is that, with the right help, everyone is capable of achieving mental health and wellness.

My specialties include: pre and post partum mental health, motherhood, couple's therapy, trauma work, and individual mental health therapy. 

My approach is holistic, not symptom-driven, and I seek to create a trauma-informed atmosphere that helps you understand not just what you’re experiencing, but why. In addition to treating couples and moms, I also work with generalized anxiety, panic disorders, anger in women, attachment disorders, PTSD, and obsessions and compulsions. I utilize mindfulness-based therapy, somatic work, internal family systems and have advanced training in Gottman Method couples therapy and Perinatal Mood Disorders from Postpartum Support International.

In my work with couples, I have specialty training in treating affair recovery and PTSD in a relationship context. Some couples know why they are experiencing conflict or distress, and some couples just know that something feels “off.”  My goal is to help couples understand the impact of family of origin, attachment, conflict style, and emotional history to help reestablish a sense of peace and cohesiveness in the relationship. In working with moms, my personal story and professional specialty training includes treating postpartum anxiety, depression, rage, and understanding the impact of birth trauma, pregnancy and infant loss, and infertility.
