Complex ptsd
what is complex ptsd?
Complex PTSD is different than PTSD- in where it comes from and how it impacts us. Complex PTSD develops from repeated experiences of toxic stress, emotional abuse, chaotic environments, and the challenges of being raised in a dysfunctional family.
When you've had to live in survival mode for so long, it can leave deep patterns on your nervous system that impact how we feel, think, act and what we belief about ourselves.
Healing is possible. Its so important to have a therapist who understands the differences in complex PTSD and how to treat it in therapy. All of our therapists work with complex PTSD and can help you break patterns of generational trauma.
